The **ton of refrigeration** (International Table) (also **refrigeration ton**) is a unit of power equal to 3,516.853 watts (1 ton of refrigeration (IT) = 3,516.853 W), the derived unit of power in the International System of Units (SI).

The ton of refrigeration (IT) (TR) is also equal to 3.516853 kilowatts (kW), or 3.516853 × 10^{-3} megawatts (MW), or 3.516853 × 10^{-6} gigawatts (GW), or 12,000 British thermal units (IT) per hour (BTU/h), or 3,025.97295 kilocalories (thermochemical) per hour (kcal/h) or 4.781589 horsepower (metric) (hp).

The ton of refrigeration unit is used to measure heat absorption in refrigeration.

The ton of refrigeration is used in North America for rating commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
