About foot
The foot is a unit of length in the Imperial and US customary systems of units equal to 0.3048 meters (1 ft = 0.3048 m), the base unit of length in the International System of Units (SI).
One foot (ft) is also equal to 30.48 centimeters (cm) (an SI unit of length), or approximately 1.893939 × 10-4 miles (mi), or 12 inches (in) or 0.333 yards (yd), which are US customary / Imperial units of length.
